Artist Statement:
    This piece of art is a logo that I feel represents my identity best in a significant and simple way. My name, Sydney Sehr, is who I am, although, most people know me as or call me Syd Sehr. My family, friends, coaches, etc. all typically refer to me as Syd. The S being the first letter of my first and last name, is really important to me, which is why I made the S so big. Then, I fit in the rest of the letters to my name in or around the S.
    
    This art visually represents my identity, and fits it into a logo. This is my name, and it is the way that people can recognize me or get my attention. When meeting new people, or speaking to people I already know, my name is used daily. I tried to make the S big and bold, so that I could emphasize the significance of that letter in my identity. This logo represents who I am, and the name I was given, in a simple yet effective way.

     Hi! My name is Sydney Sehr and I am a student studying psychology at The University of Tampa. I am originally from Burlington Massachusetts. Some fun facts about me is that I am the youngest daughter with two older brothers, and I was a cheerleader for 11 years. Some hobbies of mine include hanging out with friends, shopping, tanning, and going to the gym. My biggest accomplishments would be my cheer competitions and getting 1st at Leagues and Regionals, and 2nd at States and New Englands, and also on another team winning All Star Worlds.   Final Caligramme: My Letter To My Future Self: Dear Future Sydney Sehr, I hope you’re doing well! I am writing this letter to you for your digital media class, how was it? I know that this class was a requirement but I hope you learned a lot from it and are able to use it in the future for jobs, or anything else? How did college go for you? We majored in psychology, and were wondering whether we wanted to focus more on developmental psychology or forensic psychology. Which did we end up choosing, or did we not choose either? Speaking of psychology, did you get any jobs that you are really interested in? Did you go more of a therapist route or a research route?   Original Files Used:  Final Image: Artist Statement:  In this piece of art known as an Autoscopy, I have placed myself into what reminds me of a fairytale fairyland with lots of nature beforehand, and as well as the nature I have added. I feel like this image also represents me as I am a very outdoorsy person. Growing up, I had a fairy themed bedroom and this really sparked the inspiration for what I wanted to do. I was able to play around with tools, and colors, and really stick myself into a fairytale like I've dreamed of when I was little.
